STARTED TEN YEARS AGO...
My wife and I visited Stockholm for a romantic break to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. I’d booked three nights at the Hotel Diplomat, which has views over Nybroviken Bay.
Stockholm is a stunning city, and the hotel concierge made great recommendations for places to visit and sights to see. However, the standout memory from the trip was the comfort level at the hotel, particularly our experience sleeping on a Duxiana bed.
For several years, I had suffered from poor sleep, either brought on by stress or back issues. On the final day of our stay, my wife and I were determined to find out what we had been sleeping on and discovered a leather DUX logo hidden beneath the bed linen.
Returning to the UK...
We visited the London store and made what we knew was a wise investment. We’ve never regretted this decision, and for ten years, we have enjoyed the most blissful night’s sleep.
When we heard Stamford was to have the first Duxiana store outside London, we were thrilled. We immediately decided to purchase a second bed for Pea Cottage, our luxury Airbnb. Janet and I are genuinely excited to offer the same levels of comfort found in prestigious hotels around the world, except not in a capital city but in a stone-built cottage surrounded by beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.
