We just wanted to say thank you for a perfect start to our honeymoon. We loved every second, and the little treasure hunt for prosecco was such a wonderful touch. We got here fine and the cottage is absolutely beautiful. It’s everything we wanted and was so nice to come in and relax after such a busy day at the wedding. We just discovered the crystal maze so plan to do that after breakfast!! Thanks so much for letting us rent your cottage, its the most perfect start to our honeymoon.

Lovely, cosy place for a quiet long weekend. Great setting looking out onto fields and sheep. Comfy bed and sofas. Games and record player for entertainment. Log burner for those cold nights. Has everything you need to forget the world for a few days. Would highly recommend.

Not just a romantic retreat for couples! This Singleton has just had the most wonderful two nights in the most immaculate accommodation, the height of luxury and style surrounded by much needed peace & quiet. Highlights were the bath, the gorgeous bed complete with organic chocolate and the log burning stove complete with big comfortable sofa opposite. I arrived stressed, frazzled and overwhelmed and left two nights later well rested, inspired and with everything back in perspective. I will be back Andrew!

I arranged our stay at the cottage very last minute (about an hour before arriving) and literally could not of been more overwhelmed by this amazing property. The location is beautiful and you feel so totally nurtured by the way the owners have put so much love and thought into the interior design. The cottage exudes style, warmth (literally cosy as toast with aga, log burner and under floor heating) and such great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and Andrew was just a text away to answer any questions if needed. Due to work commitments we were unable to stay longer but now we have found this truly idyllic retreat we will be back.

Beautiful and elegant accommodation. Very private, warm and romantic, in a rural setting that is very healthy and relaxing. We had a very relaxing stay. accommodation was beautiful, with lots of special touches from the Host. Certainly a very romantic retreat.

Lovely cottage all the interiors are well thought out and it’s very peaceful. Some nice walks right outside the door and both Stamford and Peterborough are lovely and close by. The cottage was lovely and warm and we were given plenty of wood for the fire. The prosecco challenge was a nice touch and the swing in the paddock was lovely.

We would definitely come back.

If you’ve ever owned an AGA, the wonderful smell of that heat greats you. Heaven. This is a lovely place and didn’t disappoint! Our favourite touch was the walk with little photos and we had a good laugh trying (and failing!) the treasure hunt. Sparkling clean, homely, stylish. Andrew is clearly thoughtful and a lovely chap!

This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The location is great and the barn is stunning, with everything you could possibly need. We tried the local pub recommended and it was yummy. Only a ten minute drive to Stamford too.

I am almost loath to write this review as part of me wants to keep Pea Cottage a cosy little secret….however that seems a tad mean so let me extol it’s many virtues instead! All in all it is simply beautiful, from the peaceful setting aside the paddock to the exquisitely decorated interior. It is a little snapshot of heaven and we loved every minute of our time there & quite frankly we will have to go back as we were so reluctant to leave our little bolt hole for the weekend we didn’t explore the area anywhere near as much as we’d intended. Whilst we didn’t meet the owners they couldn’t have been more helpful in the run up to our stay & we felt nothing would have been too much trouble, all correspondence was conducted with a wonderful sense of humour which was an absolute breath of fresh air. Something that was reflected in the treasure hunt we found on our arrival, much fun was had retrieving our Prosecco from the locked chest….which was another good excuse not to leave the cottage! If you’re seeking some peace & quiet, somewhere to relax and unwind and feel very far away from the outside world then I can’t recommend this place highly enough, we can’t wait to come back and listen to the owls, swing under the oak tree and cosy up with a mug of cocoa!

We loved everything about Pea Cottage, it was comfy, cosy, beautifully decorated, a veritable haven of peace and quiet to get away from it all for a weekend! It was immaculately clean, well equipped and although we didn’t cross paths with the owners they couldn’t have been more helpful in the run up to our stay answering questions and providing all the necessary instructions. We can’t wait to come back!

Pea Cottage is a little piece of heaven! We celebrated our 10 wedding anniversary there and it was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and the bed is unbelievably comfortable. Drank champagne on the patio whilst listening to records on the record player. Will certainly return in the future.

The interior design choices and landscaping were exquisite and put this over-stressed New Yorker totally at ease. Communication with the host was also a breeze. and perfect weather certainly didn’t hurt.

What a beautiful place! This gorgeous home is a perfect getaway for a romantic weekend. We loved the treasure hunt (thank you!) and the little added extras; they made our stay even more special. During our visit, we enjoyed a walk to the White Hart pub for evening drinks in the sunshine. One day we ventured into Stamford to enjoy a bit of shopping and a luxurious lunch at the George Hotel. After our adventures we came home to enjoy the beautiful property, comfortable living space, and picturesque outdoor space. We highly recommend and hope to return sometime soon!

Pea cottage is a beautiful property. It’s a stunning building and we enjoyed a lovely 3 nights there. The prosecco trail is a great touch and really enjoyed exploring the surroundings. Nice and secluded and it felt like home from home.

Very romantic, cozy property. The owners have gone to a great deal of effort to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We loved everything. We had great fun on the tandem bike, enjoyed “Fred’s walk”, and the local area is really lovely. All the finishing touches really make this property let something extra special. Winters evening, sat by the fire, with a glass of wine and your loved one – bliss. Would definitely recommend to others
