We have just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at Pea Cottage.

We were very impressed with the design and decor and also the barn is huge, with a great woodburner and an Aga which I loved using.

Very comfortable sofas to enjoy some Netflix – also provided.

Andrew has a tandem bike for guests to use, surprising easy to ride – which we used to cycle to the local pub – The White Hart.

We would not hesitate to recommend Pea Cottage, a fantastic stay – thank you so much..

The place was great. Very rustic, unique and comfortable. The amenities were nothing short of fantastic and the scene beautifully rural. Stamford is a short drive away where you’d find great historic center with loads of great places to eat if you decide on having an evening out.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful and peaceful setting . Loved watching wildlife and birds .Andrew the owner was very helpful . Good idea about buying provisions at cottage but would have been useful to have known in advance . Visited Stamford , parking not easy . also Oakham – lovely tea-rooms by the church .We also went to Belton House , good tour around the downstairs . We are hoping to go again.

We visited Stamford this weekend for a friend’s wedding. The hotels in Stamford seemed a little expensive, so we booked this cottage instead. Definitely the right decision!

With free parking adjacent to the cottage, it was very easy to unpack. Upon entry, we were totally wowed by the quality of the fixtures and fittings. The airy, open plan layout was lovely. We especially liked the rustic charm of the wooden beams, stone floors and country kitchen. The wood burner is a lovely touch too! Oh did I mention the bed…it’s massive and super comfy!

The cottage looks good in the photos, but in real life it is even better!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The barn is in a stunning location. We arrived and the cottage was warm and inviting. It has been finished to the highest standard and is simply beautiful. The hosts were wonderful and made sure that if we needed anything then they were just a knock or call away (we didn’t contact them during our stay as there was simple no need) we will already be returning as it was definately a 5* stay! Thank you!!

The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Spacious, luxurious, peaceful. Brilliantly furnished & equipped. We also found it to be excellent value compared to nearby hotels, and you get so much more for your money here. We definitely hope to return! Thank you.
